Jibrail Rajasab Shaikh is an 11-year-old child from a poor family in Bittergaw village, Renapur taluka, Latur district. He has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and has already undergone two surgeries during his treatment journey.
His first diagnosis was at Paike Hospital, Latur. Later, he was shifted to Indrayani Hospital, Pune, where surgery was done under the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Scheme.
Unfortunately, another lump has now developed in his throat, and doctors have advised that one more surgery is urgently required. The estimated cost of this surgery is around ₹2,00,000, including hospital charges, surgery, and medicines. The hospital has referred the case to an NGO in Pune, which may help with this surgery cost.
